Isla Walks

YAY! Baby sister finally started walking on her own a few days ago. She's gotten even better over the last two days, but here's the video of that first night.

2009: A year in review

Okay, so I know I've been horrible at posting since Isla came, but these photo books posts should make up for it. Here's the 2009 book. I'm working on 2010 now. I'll post it as soon as I can, and then I'll start posting more regularly again :)

Baby Sister is already 1!

I can't believe I've been a big brother for over a year now. Baby Sister has really grown and changed so much in this first year (technically, year and nine months). Mama made this awesome book full of pictures and stories of the first year....just like the books she has made every year since I was born. Usually, the family album is really an album of me. HOwever, now that there are two of us, Mama thought that Isla needed her own special book for that first year.

Growing up too fast

He's always liked pretending to shave like his Dadda. Now, he doesn't have to pretend anymore. Where did the time go?

Tis the Season

So...it's that time of year again...the holiday season! It seems to become closer to one gigantic holiday as the years go by. It starts with Halloween, and it's New Year's before we know it. For the past three crazy years, we haven't had the time nor organization to send out holiday cards. However, THIS YEAR WILL BE DIFFERENT. With me being home full time, there are no excuses! We've already got family pics scheduled for a few weeks from now, and I'm going to start working address labels in the next week.

As most of you know, I've been using shutterfly for years to create all kinds of photo memories and gifts. It's no surprise that I'm planning to use Shutterfly again for holiday cards. Every year, their designs get more creative, so it gets harder to choose my favorite. I always battle with whether to pick one awesome pic...or jam it full. I prefer the non fold cards, as most people like to put these up on their fridges or in albums...hard to do that with the folding ones. Here are some of my favorites:

Oh, there are too many to choose from. Here are the other links. Maybe you can help me out!

Fun Summer Days

I've been busy having all kinds of fun these past few weeks.

Here's a picture of me and Dadda after church one day:

Here I am at Bass Pro Shops, learning to fish:

Gettin' a ride from Dadda after playing at the park:

Adjusting to the massive growth in my feet:

Attending PrideFest in Downtown Denver:

Hangin' out with cute chicks:

Visiting with my Mockon and my Great Grandma:

Riding every train I see:

Playing with one of my favorite toys these days (Mommy and Dadda finally got me a new one of my own--pictures to come):

I also started PRESCHOOL last week! This is me in my classroom the first day. I've been having a little trouble adjusting, so Mommy and Dadda come and get me at lunchtime. It'll get better.

Getting in the car with my "coffee" on the way to the pool:

Swimming with Dadda at this nearby pool we just discovered this summer:

Looking "sharp" in my new shoes:

Getting lots of stickers on my new potty chart:

Watching Mommy grow Baby Sister (23 weeks):

I've also been practicing another important skill:
