Easter Fun!

Easter weekend was fun! Like last year, we went to the big egg hunt on the DU campus. Last year, I went with the 2 and under group, but this year I went with the big kids--3-5 year olds!

Mama and I on our way over. It was cold outside!

Here I am waiting with the other kids and my cool puppy Easter basket:

Dadda and I!

A little video before the hunt started...Matt is one of my friends. I was hoping to see him at the egg hunt, but we never found him.

"Ready? Set! Go!" When they said that, I thought it was a race, so I just decided to run around.

Still running...no eggs, but I told Mama after this video ended, "That was fun!"

When we got home, we painted eggs. We got a tie dye kit, so the eggs came out really cool.

Here I am painting an egg with Mama:

After we got done painting eggs, we went to another egg hunt in the building. The students were so quick! I did get one egg during that hunt, and then Mama and Dadda hid a bunch of eggs in our apartment. Once I figured out that there was candy in them, I was really excited about the eggs!

Here's my cute Easter outfit that I wore to church:

I hope everyone had a great Easter like I did!

The Easter Bunny!

Last weekend, we went to Bass Pro Shops. When we got there, I was excited to see that the Easter Bunny was there! They also had eggs hidden all over the store. I found three, so I got some cool treats!

I had fun visiting with the Easter Bunny. He's a cool dude!
Despite Mama's wishes, I had to have my stuffed Lightening McQueen in the picture with me...

Another long-awaited update...

Mama better get in gear...she's only been posting about once a month lately!

Here's what we've been up to...

At the beginning of the month, Mama was a judge for Air Band. She had to sit in a special section, so Dadda and I found our own area to sit in.

I've been learning how to dress myself too. Sometimes, I get stuck...

I've been my silly self, as usual...

We got a membership to the Nature and Science Museum, so we've spent lots of time there. I love that place!

I've also been potty training. Check out my big boy underwear!

One of my favorite new games is Fireman. Dadda and I put on our firemen hats and pretend to drive around and put out fires. Dadda's so cool!

Bubba and Nana also came for a visit at the end of Dadda's spring break. We took them to the Nature and Science Museum and to Bass Pro Shops. Bubba showed me how to play the shooting game. Bubba's a good shot!

Here are some cute pictures of me one Sunday morning. Dadda, Mama, and I all decided to match that day!

I got to see Aaron and Marie this month too.

They brought me all kinds of goodies, including this puzzle that had removal stickers. I decided my shirt needed some stickers.

After several weeks of beautiful weather, we had a blizzard. It was so crazy outside that they actually closed campus!! I was happy because Mama got to stay home all day and also because Dadda and I got to go build a snowman the next day. We painted him a cool face and gave him a Cars hat. He was a cool snowman. I sure to do miss him.

A few more cute pics from the month:

Stay tuned for some new video clips and Easter pics!

Some fun recent stuff...

Mommy apologizes for not posting much lately. It's been a busy month!

Here are some recent video clips.

This first one is at one of the big McDonald's here. I was playing in the big play area, even though you're not really supposed to go in there until you're 3. Anyway, I hurt myself a few times while in the tunnels, and Mommy came in to rescue me. Once you're in, you have to go all the way through, so Mommy got to slide out with me. She said it was tough to climb through all those tunnels!

Here's a couple of me at one of the malls. Daddy likes to take me there a couple of times during the week to run around and socialize with other kids. I've been getting braver as I get bigger :)

Here's a fun one of me on the changing table tickling myself :)

As you probably know, both Daddy and Mommy were cheerleaders when they were younger...so, it's no surprise that Daddy is already teaching me how to partner stunt. Right now, I'm a "flyer." However, it won't be long before I'm a "base." We're demonstrating a "cupie" in this video (also referred to as an "awesome" in the cheer world).

That's all for now!

Zoo Fun

Today it was 60 degrees outside, so we decided it would be fun to go to the zoo.

Here were are by the lions. Daddy always lifts me up high so I can see. He's also cool, because he dresses like me!

Since Mommy rarely gets to come to our weekly trips to the zoo, Daddy wanted to take lots of pictures of her with me. I guess we're a little rusty.

Take one...

Take two...

Take three...(at least I was ready in this one)

Finally!

On the way to the train ride, I saw this longhorn and had to sit on it. Daddy's got it right!

Here we are waiting in the line for the train.

Here's the video of us coming around the bend...

Next up was the carousel. First, I rode with Mama.

Then, I rode with Dadda.

Then, we walked around and saw all the other animals. Dadda gave me ride when I got tired.

On the way out, I always have to stop and play in this little cave:

Then, the peacock came to see us out.
