"Baby and Sister"

I was right!
Despite Mommy's strong feelings that she was having another little boy, I will be getting a baby sister (which I refer to as "baby and sister").

Here are some of the sonogram pics:

Royal Gorge Trip--Final Day

On our last day in Canon City, we slept in a little and started our day more slowly.
First, we had breakfast. Mama got up early and brought Dadda and I our breakfast from the hotel breakfast area.

After breakfast, we loaded up and headed to the Royal Gorge Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in the world.

Here's a view from the top. It's a long way down!

It wasn't as scary as Mama thought it would be. The bridge was built nice and sturdy.

We decided to take pictures by the flags of our birth states:

After petting some animals in the petting zoo and watching some crazy people do the "sky coaster," I wanted to take the trolley back to the other side of the bridge.

On the other side of the bridge, they had a carousel. We all took a ride.

Then, I got to ride ANOTHER train and play in an old one.

Our last stop on the trip was at the White Water Grill. I had a burger and yummy sweet potato fries!

What a fun trip!

Royal Gorge Trip--Part II

After almost two months of waiting, the day had finally come--it was finally time to ride a real train!

While we were waiting on the train, I played with the Thomas table they had set up for kids:

Mama and Dadda tried to get me to keep on the Conductor hat, but I wasn't really interested in it. That's why this picture is a blur :)

When we moved into the outdoor waiting area, I was fascinated by all the lady bugs that had gathered everywhere. I guess they like trains too!

I was so happy to finally get on the train:

The scenery was beautiful! We got to see lots of rafters on the Gorge. Mama said she was happy to be on the train instead of in a raft like last summer!

On the return trip, we spent some time on the open air cart. It was fun!

After that, it was back inside for water and a treat!

I had such a good time on the train, but Mama and Dadda had more fun in store. After we went on the train, we went straight to the Dinosaur Depot.

That evening, after I took my nap, we took a walk in the area around our hotel. The river was right across the street...and a park too! I had fun picking up rocks and throwing them in the river. Mama held onto my shirt, because she was afraid I'd fall right in!

After playing at the park, we went to this great pub called McClellan's. I had a burger.

I was wiped out after a full day of fun, so I capped the day off by watching a movie.
