Zoo Fun

Today it was 60 degrees outside, so we decided it would be fun to go to the zoo.

Here were are by the lions. Daddy always lifts me up high so I can see. He's also cool, because he dresses like me!

Since Mommy rarely gets to come to our weekly trips to the zoo, Daddy wanted to take lots of pictures of her with me. I guess we're a little rusty.

Take one...

Take two...

Take three...(at least I was ready in this one)

Finally!

On the way to the train ride, I saw this longhorn and had to sit on it. Daddy's got it right!

Here we are waiting in the line for the train.

Here's the video of us coming around the bend...

Next up was the carousel. First, I rode with Mama.

Then, I rode with Dadda.

Then, we walked around and saw all the other animals. Dadda gave me ride when I got tired.

On the way out, I always have to stop and play in this little cave:

Then, the peacock came to see us out.

Creativity Day

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy took me to "Creativity Day" at the Ricks Center for Gifted Children, which is part of the DU campus. I had so much fun doing crafts and playing with the other little kids, and one of the teachers kept calling me the "ambassador" of the room.

Afterwards, we went to Jamba Juice to try their new menu item, oatmeal. I was more into the smoothie Daddy got, but I had a few bites of the oatmeal too. I also had fun just climbing around and watching people walk by outside.

Hello 2009!

Wow! I can't believe how fast this month has gone by. Mommy apologizes for not keeping up with the blog over the last few weeks. Hopefully this post will make up for it.

Here are some pictures from earlier this month, when Daddy took me to the zoo while Mommy was in work.

Although I wasn't too thrilled about my costume back in October, I decided January was a good time to put it on.

My hair sure has been growing these days. Here's a post-naptime glimpse of the do.
I actually like it this way. When Daddy fixes my hair every day, I often tell him to "make it bigger." No matter what, I always look in the mirror afterwards and say, "I look sharp!"

I still love the vacuum.

Here I am shooting some hoop...

A few weekends ago, Mommy and Daddy took me to story time at Barnes and Noble.
I love that place...

After the bookstore, we went to one of Mommy and Daddy's favorite restaurants, Cracker Barrel. There were lots of people there, so we had to wait. I had more fun in the "waiting" area than the actual restaurant.

One of my favorite places lately is the JMac lounge. They have all kinds of games in there...all for FREE. I'm getting pretty good.

A highlight of this month was when Mommy and Daddy got me a train table for all the Thomas stuff I got for Christmas. I love my train table!!!

Last week, I had fun "helping" Daddy tighten all the screws on the dining table. Even though they are all tightened now, I've been wanting to check them everyday, just in case.

I've also become quite a fan of talking and talking and talking and talking on the phone...

This post is getting long. Stay tuned for future posts...coming soon...hopefully :)
