Keepin' Busy

We've been keepin' busy around here. Mommy's been busy with work, and Daddy's been staying up all hours of the night working on papers. Here's what I've been doing...

Exploring new foods (now that I have 6 teeth!)....

Practicing my throwing skills...

Cheering on the DU lady basketball team (even though they lost to Duke)...

Cruisin' the campus in my cool ride...

Playin' at the soccer field and cheerin' on the Lobos...

Cooking...

Cleaning (with my new favorite toy)...

And just looking cute (especially in the hat and scarf that Grandma made me)!

How do you like them apples?

I've recently discovered a love for the best fruit in the world...APPLES!
I love it when Mama or Daddy give me a whole apple...

I also love it when Daddy cuts the apple up in little pieces for me...

However, I love'em most when I can share...

Disco Baby

For Halloween this year, Mommy and Daddy had originally planned to dress me up like a Gnome, because that's the mascot for the building that Mommy works in. However, they later found this cool costume! It was cold outside, my cool fro wig was a bit itchy, so Daddy put my soft puppy hat underneath. Daddy's so cool!

Here are some pics from yesterday. We had a fun Halloween lunch with Mommy's boss and his family. The other cute kids in the pics are Fireman Tyler and Scarecrow Reid. We all had so much fun being dressed up and getting compliments from all the hot college girls!!

Big Weekend

This past weekend was a big weekend with the Homecoming festivities and the Rockies World Series game.

On Friday, while we were waiting for our lunch order at The Pub on campus, this nice lady let me pet her dog (doesn't it look like a little Reveille, the TAMU mascot?)

Here are some pics from the Homecoming Parade. There were marching bands, bag pipes, flag girls, and all kinds of fun stuff. The tennis team even game me a tennis ball!

On our way back to the residence hall after the parade, Mommy found this very cool spot with pretty leaves to take pictures. A nice lady stopped by and took a picture of me and Mommy together too!

On Sunday, we took a walk and stopped by the CSU vs. DU soccer game. It was fun to watch, but ultimate is still a better sport!

Sunday was also the Rockies game. Mommy's friend, Tanya, sent me a Rockies outfit to wear, so I was set! Daddy, Mommy, and I met with the leadership team before the game to get the dining hall all set up for the big game. The Rockies lost, but that's okay!

What a fun weekend!

I've got skills

Now that I'm a year old, I'm learning all kinds of new things.

I can hold my own cup and drink out of it (sometimes my clothes get a drink too).

I'm learning to feed myself (okay, so sometimes I miss my mouth, but yogurt's good for your hair and skin away).

I can walk on my hands (with Daddy's assistance).

I can walk and carry things.

I'm also learning to run and lay-out (necessary skills for my favorite game, ultimate). Of course, I fall down alot (especially with socks and slippery floors), but I keep trying. Oh, and Daddy apologizes for his potty mouth in the little clip. We don't know how to "bleep" him yet.

Snow Angel

Yesterday morning, we woke up, and it was snowing. Once it stopped and the sun came out, we ventured outside for some fun pictures. I was happy to have my cousin Isaiah's snow suit to keep me all warm.

Pics with Mommy and Daddy

They sat me down in the snow. I couldn't stand in the little snow boots, because they are too big right now.

Next, Daddy layed me down so I could make a snow angel. It was my first time, so I didn't do so well. It's okay though. I'm still Mommy and Daddy's angel.

After lying in the snow and then picking it up to taste it, I started to get cold, so Mommy rescued me.

Heading back into the warm building...
